An original copy of the writ has to be submitted to the Registry (“le greffe”) at least 8 days before the hearing.

How to get information during bankruptcy proceedings (“procedures collectives”)

On the certificate of incorporation at the Trade and Companies Register (RCS), the “observations” section on the bottom of the document gives information concerning possible bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings towards a company or a sole trader.

A certificate from the RCS (“extrait Kbis”) can be delivered immediately at the Registry’s premises, or online on the website if the company or trader is registered in Paris.

The total cost of a procedure depends on the nature and the importance of the case.

The judicial agents appointed by the court (creditors’ representative, administrators…) are paid to carry out their missions. Their fees also depend on the nature and the importance of the case.
